When does the PHS Band Boosters meet?
The PHS Band Boosters generally meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:30 in the high school cafateria. All are welcome to come.
What does the band fee cover?
The band fees help cover the cost to run the Marching Band program. This will help pay for Transportation, uniforms flags, music cost, set designs, costumes, instruments and meals provided by the band boosters.
When are band Practices?
Generally marching band practices are EVERY Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 pm to 830 pm. This is subject to change due to the availability of the turf field. An announcement and change on the calendar will be made as soon as we know of a schedule change.
How can I volunteer?
PHS marching band reqiures a lot of volunteers. We will need help with
Building and painting of the sets.
Sewing and/or altering guard costumes.
Hair and makeup on show/ football games
Help with pushing equipment and /or carry instruments at shows/ football games
Prepare and /or serve meals at shows/ football games
Loading and unloading equipment on/off band trailers
Fundraising- Concessions and help with other various fundraisers
Many others, we greatly appreciate the help form our parents and band family members!
What items are needed for the band?
Paper plates (dinner and dessert size)
Ziplock bags (sandwich, quart, gallon)
Large trash bags
Candy for concession stands
Brand name sodas for concession stands (Coke, diet, MT Dew, Sprite,etc)
